l'amour est un oiseau rebelle: le 22 juin

St-Malo being on the coast, it was a sure thing that gulls would abound. This happy little fellow had been walking on the crosswalk (Right up until I got my camera out of course!)

These little fellow were all about as we had lunch at La Crêperies Chez Chantal. The two in the rear of the photo were feeding each other the little scraps and morsels they found. They were too cute.

While walking along the ramparts of the city, wee came across these Gulls and their friend...

While walking along the Boardwalk at Dinard, I spotted this Egret fishing along the breaker line ...

l'amour est un oiseau rebelle: le louvre

From the Café atop the Denon Wing...

We saw some crows playing in the updrafts of air above one of the entrances to the Cour Carrée after our break on the Passerelle des Arts. I was very happy to see some crows, I always feel at home when there are crows around...

l'amour est un oiseau rebelle : versailles

While taking pictures of la Fontaine d'Apollo this duck kept following me around the pool...

Then a short while later as we walked along the Grand Canal we saw a family of ducks, so of course I stopped to take a few pics... (Please note my Leopard print socks. heh)

Closer...

Closer...

Close up!

Then when we were leaving at the end of the day I decided to take a couple more pics of the statues at the main gate, and two cheeky pigeons ended up in 2 of the 3 pictures! Camera hogs!

l'amour est un oiseau rebelle : le 14 juin

A triple play!

This is the photo that started it all!

As we entered the Jardins des Tuileries I was taking photographs of some of the statuary; when I arrived in front of this statue, there was a pigeon doing what they do best... protecting the statue from the harmful UV rays of the sun...

Moments later as we looked at the small boats in the large fountain in the Gardens we noticed not one but multiple families of ducks inhabiting the water there...

...and finally a short while later while walking through the gardens of the Palais Royal I caught this group attack on a poor unsuspecting lad.
